How do you go from having all your developers muting your game, to having the project teams involved in sound design and actively listening for bugs? What does the sound of your own CEO howling in agony do to engage the project team? How can you increase awareness and involvement of your teams in creating healthier audio pipelines? From the creative mind of Paradox's own Metal head, Bjorn Iversen will share tips and tricks about how to involve the whole dev team in the soundscape. He will share his best methods from developing two of Paradox's biggest game projects released in 2016, 'Stellaris' and 'Hearts of Iron IV'.

Attendees will learn various methods to heighten the dev team's audio awareness on the project. This will help with project planning and task estimation and also help to create a better immersive feeling that really expresses the theme of the IP.

Intended Audience

No need for any previous audio experience. The intended audience are project leads, team leads, producers, audio directors, and sound designers, whether they are working on a one-month DLC or multi-year ongoing projects.
