Nolen Royalty is an independent game developer who joined the industry in 2023. He builds unusual games, including Flappy Dird (Flappy Bird embedded in MacOS Finder), Talk Paper Scissors (a hotline for playing Rock Paper Scissors), and Stranger Video, a game about staring at strangers that he's presenting at the Experimental Games Workshop. Before building games he developed software for the quantitative trading firm Jane Street Capital. He has golden strawberries for the Celeste C-sides but not the B-sides.
