Sessions do fill up and seating is first come, first serve, so arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend.
David Swenson is the Audio Director for Call of Duty developed by Activision and Sledgehammer Games. David is an award winning game developer; having lead the audio teams on some of the most popular video games in the industry. Over the past decade, David's sounds have been enjoyed by tens of millions of video-game fans worldwide. In his role at Activision, David is currently leading the audio team for one of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world. Most recently, David's team developed 2014's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare which won the GANG award for Sound Design of the Year and Audio of the Year. David earned an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and an MFA in sound design and technology from Purdue University. Before taking his position with Activision and Call of Duty, David worked at Electronic Arts where he received a BAFTA Award (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) as well as a D.I.C.E. Award (Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences) for his sound design work on EA's video game, Dead Space.
