People around the globe spend billions of hours in transit – every day. holoride has created something radically new that entertains backseat passengers in an unseen way: A new media category made for moving vehicles called Elastic Content. Through this, holoride establishes an ecosystem for highly immersive, motion- and location-synchronized in-vehicle XR experiences, transforming the car into a canvas with infinite possibilities for content creation. Introducing its Creator Space with a clear learning path, forum, feedback, and roadmap information, holoride will be giving developers and content creators access to the Elastic SDK powered by the Unity Game Engine. The Elastic SDK comes with a full range of functionalities including map and pose nodes. A node graph will be defining the scene and the terrain in a procedural fashion. Nodes download and filter maps, extract information, download points of interest, and replace them by prefabs. Extensibility will allow developers to write their own nodes and create responsive game objects. The holoride player prefab will provide developers with the car’s sensor data like acceleration, position, and speed. Playful exploration and exciting features will help build breathtaking content and grant game studios, developers, and content creators access to a captive audience and additional revenue streams.
