For their first year on Frostbite and the new generation of console hardware, the National Hockey League Team set out to build a new foundation for uniform and apparel creation that could carry them into the future. Learn how Substance 3D Designer and Substance 3D Painter became the backbone for a unified approach to building new uniforms for both last and current generation consoles. Gary Snyder and Dallas Finerty will break down how they rebuilt their workflow and libraries from the ground up with an eye toward resolution-independence and scalability, empowering the team to create the most authentic and detailed uniforms yet across the widest range of platforms ever for the franchise.
Attendees will come away with an understanding of how the NHL Team leveraged Adobe software to build the framework and libraries for their Uniform and Apparel content pipeline, and how the interoperability of Substance 3D Designer and Substance 3D Painter helped them build a robust, production-ready workflow for content creation that could deliver high quality on a large scale.
