Ships are the heart of the pirate game, Skull and Bones. They serve as an extension of the playable character. They are the main mode of transport, the weapon, the environment, as well as the allies and enemies at sea.

In this session, Jewell Koh, 3D Artist at Ubisoft Singapore, will touch on the unique art challenges that come with building such an asset with multiple design and tech requirements, all while sustaining it for a Live AAA game. She will share the technical tools and procedural art pipelines that enable artists to build complex ship structures and ship skin customizations with automation and efficiency.
