In this session, Andie Sulistio, Associate Art Director at Ubisoft Singapore, will present the visual direction of the ships in Skull and Bones. He will share the team's research on the anatomy of historical ships, and how the team has adapted it to fit within gameplay and technical needs to deliver the fantasy of a pirate game.
Attendees will leave with a greater understanding on the various art direction approaches and frameworks that can be utilized to address various challenges. The talk will cover how the team breaks down high-level requirements of AAA art and solve them by crafting solutions.
