This roundtable will talk about the future of analytics in games. Organizers will be soliciting and debating ideas about what the successful use of data looks like in developing and sustaining great games. Participants will discuss good and bad examples of data in game development, as well as ways developers can do more to serve partners and players.
Attendees will leave with a broader understanding of the role data currently plays in the games industry and a variety of perspectives on where the field should be going. They will also have had a chance to influence the direction and priorities of the Analytics SIG.
This is for anyone who currently works with data in games, those who want to partner more closely with data practitioners, and those who are interesting in joining the field.
