Antisemitism has dramatically increased across the world. Many Jewish game developers have been unable to speak up, and if they do, they are met with continued antisemitism. This is especially true online where misinformation is shared and corrections are met with resistance without considering the effect this has on Jews in the games industry. In this roundtable, we share our experiences of antisemitism from our industry and come up with solutions to combat it.
Jewish attendees will come away with their feelings heard about how antisemitism has affected them. Allies may come away with more sympathy for their Jewish colleagues. Everyone will learn more about what they can do to combat antisemitism.
This roundtable is open to Jewish game developers and those who want to learn more about antisemitism and hear about the experience of the Jewish community.
