In this talk, Fighting Chance's art director Josie Devora aims to solve the struggle of finding your game's art style and voice through a considered, methodical, and affordable approach. Utilising research, tools, and a competitive analysis to other games in the space, you will find the core strengths of your game and truly narrow in on what makes your game stand out.

The talk will go over how to build effective discovery boards on Pinterest, how to utilise AI art to draw inspiration, as well as the creation of a competitive analysis document to help position your game. All of this culminates in building concept art that outperforms other kinds of discovery, and helps reinforce your game's core strengths.
