With so many advances in technology, many of our favorite stories and characters from films are becoming interactive. In this session, I will take you on an exploration of how we as designers become "shadow" designers, mimicking already outstanding sound design and stretching this source material to make it immersive and interactive. I will show examples of original music composition, sound design and VO production for franchises like Marvel, Star Wars and Disney/Pixar.


Junior Game Audio attendees and those who have not worked with existing IP will get an overview of what it is like working with iconic characters and stories and transforming them into interactive experiences.
