The importance of how characters are portrayed in the game industry is a critical component in our understanding of how the game industry impacts black people as consumers. As the industry evolves, a critical analysis of how people are portrayed within the games is an important step. This roundtable discusses the importance of developing authentic black voices, culture and representation in the game development pipeline.
Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities game developers have when creating products that are aimed for wide release.
This session is intended for all Attendees, from all disciplines, and levels in the industry.
