This open discussion roundtable is designed to bring black developers together with publishers, studio executives, students and designers on how to expand the recruitment marketplace, how to retain talent in the industry, and how to create safe environments for new talent and ideas to grow. What processes do we have in place to look beyond our immediate circles of influence, and who do we include in those conversations? To expand the audiences of our industry, we have to expand our pool or recruits and better develop a culture on inclusivity in the industry.

Takeaway

Attendees will come away with some ideas on how to better recruit people of color in the industry and how to be empowered to create action groups and items that can bring diversity to their own organizations.

Intended Audience

This session is for studio executives, HR representatives, senior managers, management, and other individuals with hiring power at companies. It is also aimed at students, people of color and other underrepresented minorities who need strategies on how to better navigate the industry.
