One year ago, Blockchain and NFTs exploded into the public consciousness. Since then, the space has evolved rapidly with games becoming one of the main uses for blockchain and NFTs. New game design and monetization concepts such as play-to-earn and play-and-earn have presented themselves as the next revolution in video games akin to the rise of free-to-play and microtransactions. Representatives for WAX, the #1 Metaverse Blockchain for gaming and NFT (processing approximately 75% of all game related transactions across all blockchains daily) will be presenting best practices so far in the space one year into this revolution.
Attendees will get insight into the ways in which games have incorporated blockchain and NFTs to date, what may be coming, pitfalls and issues to be aware of and potential solutions for handling such problems.
The intended audience for this presentation is developers and publishers with any interest, curiosity or skepticism in the intersection between games and blockchain. It will be of particular relevance to those currently developing or planning on developing games which incorporate blockchain or are even anti-blockchain.
