In this talk, animator Lana Bachynski will detail what it takes to bring a new character into a pre-established eco-system, finding balance between multiple franchises with distinctly different art styles, and the techniques used to create powerful silhouettes, and intuitive motion all around a set of beliefs that value "gameplay first".
This talk, at its core, is about animation as a service, and how animation can help cultivate positive experiences for both players and developers alike.
Attendees will leave with insight into the development pipeline of 'Heroes of the Storm', tips to level-up their animation fundamentals, and how best to work with and understand your role among a variety of other disciplines.
