Ultimate Tournament is building a next-gen gaming platform that enables developers to easily and simply build 'low-commitment games' and make them immediately available to millions of players in an Arcade environment.
They are rethinking the way we deliver games, allowing us to focus exclusively on game experience and logic and NOT on the infrastructure needed to support it.
In this session with CTO and Co-Founder, Dan Goodman, we will dig into how Ultimate Tournament architected and built their arcade platform using distributed systems and CockroachDB on AWS. We will also talk about the challenges of scaling the platform and how to address these obstacles even at a global scale.
1. The audience will learn about the architecture of a scalable gaming platform.
2. The audience will learn how to leverage the Ultimate Tournament platform.
3. The audience will learn how serverless and distributed systems can help them build "right"
Game developers, especially independent and indie game developers.
