In this roundtable, come talk about some business and marketing issues facing the video games industry in the coming year. The roundtable will focus discussion on a few key issues including the recent decline in formal games journalism jobs at news publications ranging from IGN to the Washington Post, the benefits and challenges of advertising on Twitch for small and mid-sized developers, the Wolfire lawsuit against Steam for its policy of prohibiting games being sold for a lower price on competing platforms, and whether the FTC will successfully block the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft.
