What are the concrete, impactful, and actionable ways our industry can fight climate change today?

In 2023, Jiri embarked on a 14,000-kilometer journey by train, bus, and ferry to visit European game companies in 25 different cities, and interview 40 company founders and executives about climate change action in the games industry, and documented it all on YouTube.

This session helps you understand where and how the majority of gaming-related emissions are generated, how leading companies in our industry are calculating, reporting, reducing, and compensating their missions—and, most importantly, gives you actionable things you can do to join our industry's fight against climate change.

Takeaway

Attendees will learn more about case studies on climate action by well-known companies in our industry, strong understanding of the differences in magnitude of different emission sources, along with concrete and actionable steps to start reducing your negative impact regardless of where you are on this journey today.

Intended Audience

This is for anyone in the industry interested in climate action, but especially primary decision makers at studios and companies.
