Jon Everist is a GANG award winning and ASCAP nominated composer for titles such as Battletech, Shadowrun, Overwatch 2, The Solitaire Conspiracy, PUBG, Disintegration and more. In this lecture, Jon will share his experience designing and influencing music systems using primary examples from the upcoming game "The Lamplighters League". Jon will dive into the Wwise project to discuss music system pillars and how they impact the writing and recording process. He will dive deep into recording sessions that span the globe from LA, London, to Budapest to show how recording is influenced and strengthened by strong music system design.
