Creating puzzle games for iOS usually means playing the free-to-play game, often times at the detriment to good, wholesome game design. This talk explains the tail-end of Grindstone's design journey, how designing for Apple Arcade helped CAPY refocus the game on rock-solid design, no strings attached.
Attendees will learn about CAPY's approach to designing puzzle games, and how to create a compelling core loop with unique appeal to help stand out in a crowded marketplace.
