One of the strengths of Cyberpunk 2077 is the storytelling. This talk covers how using an ARG as one of our communication tools enhanced that aspect of the game in the eyes of the community and gamers. It will feature a broad overview of the methods of multiplatform storytelling and dives deeper into the specifics of the campaign and the tools used to achieve its goal — community engagement. The talk will also cover motivations behind different techniques, along with what worked well and what could be done differently.

Attendees will learn how to easily engage with their communities and create a buzz on social media using interactive networked narratives in their communication and marketing campaigns. Attendees will get a deeper view of crucial technologies and the implementation of those features.

Intended Audience

This talk is open to everyone interested in ARGs tools they can use to engage with their community. The lecture is broadly accessible; however, some topics might require a basic understanding of different ciphers and methods of multiplatform storytelling.
