Everybody agrees that streaming matters. Numbers show a correlation between watchtime and playtime, but correlation is not causality. As Twitch released the "extensions" in early 2018, the teams at Ubisoft and Azarus took on this opportunity to go into a quest to measure and meaningfully impact the way viewers engage with the game, looking to prove and optimize the "Twitch Riddle".
