User-Generated Content (UGC) is a fast-growing field offering creators social and financial mobility, yet it can be a daunting experience for those who are just getting started. Our goal with CliCli is to build a global integrated editor and distribution platform which removes barriers to entry, including the need to have experience in programming. CliCli's vision is to provide this ecosystem so that creators may concentrate on design, and ultimately make a positive impact in the games industry.

As interest in game development grows, it is important that accessibility evolves to meet that demand. This session will cover: a brief history of UGC, common challenges for creators, what a healthy support ecosystem requires, barriers to entry for creators and platform developers, and cultivating healthy relationships with creators. Our team will share valuable insights from operating a successful platform for custom real-time strategy games.
