In this short documentary, game developers Richard Hogg and Ricky Haggett take you on a tour of Hastings, an English seaside town from which they took direct inspiration for their game I am Dead. They will show a selection of concept art from the game, and discuss the process of drawing the real-world into the fictional - both visually and narratively - from locations which found their way into the game.


People watching this will learn about our process of being very open to influences from our lives - our games can be thought of as 'a way to connect a bunch of things we're into', and specifically how 'concept art' boards facilitated this process.
