Players all over the world have fallen in love with Quill and they can't wait to return to the story of 'Moss'. How was a new indie studio of only 15 employees able to tell her story and captivate so many players in the process?
In this talk Corinne will go over the production philosophies and processes that Polyarc used to create a narrative that utilizes the unique advantages of VR. She will go over the lessons the 'Moss' team learned from development, as well as how creating within constraints led to more creativity.
Attendees will gain insight into Polyarc's philosophy and process for crafting a narrative that takes advantage of the VR medium while also keeping in mind the realities of production.
Anyone interested in hearing more about VR development, or approaches for developing for emergent mediums in general, will appreciate this talk. Developers from small teams or those working with limited resources may also find the session useful. The focus will be on our approach to narrative development and this talk does not dive deeply into the technical side of things.
