Cyril Voiron, Executive Producer of Ubisoft Escape Games and Game Designer Thorsten Leimann will share Ubisoft Blue Byte's journey into location based VR entertainment. Creating 'Escape The Lost Pyramid', an escape game in virtual reality set in the world of 'Assassin's Creed Origins' solely for Escape Rooms and VR Arcades, implied many challenges and discoveries. Cyril and Thorsten will share what the team of 12 developers learned during the development and are still learning now that the game is live in exploitation.
Attendees will learn many tips and solutions that Ubisoft Blue Byte implemented to develop a multiplayer cooperative experience for a mainstream audience and for location based VR venues, from a design to a business perspective.
This talk is for any developer interested in LBVR with a specific interest to learn more about the LBVR business as well as
the design constraints to develop a mainstream cooperative multiplayer VR experience. No prerequisite knowledge needed.
