Destiny as a 10 year franchise evolved from a slender box modeled game with RPG mechanics to the current behemoth of an action MMO that spans 8 large expansions and double digit seasonal content. The development team that creates the art for the Destiny Franchise had to also evolve to meet the demands of the game, appetite of the player, and ultimately the shifting landscapes of the industry. This talk with take a deep dive into the different art decisions, philosophies, and ideas, along with constraints and directions to continue to keep the Destiny franchise on players' minds and relevant to the gaming universe.
