Day 1: Starting the Freelancing Journey Are you new to freelancing or wondering if you should pursue it? There are fundamental differences between being an employee and being a freelancer. This session will explore these differences, what it means to have a freelance mindset, why having this mindset is vital to surviving as a freelancer, and what strategies you'll need while looking for work. The session will also cover whether freelancing is right for individuals and what factors they should consider before freelancing full or part time. Experienced freelancers and clients working with freelancers are strongly encouraged to attend and share their knowledge and support.

During these three roundtables, attendees will share their experiences and strategies for working successfully as freelancers. The moderators will provide topics and facilitate discussions that are pressing issues for all freelancers.
