With eSports competitions filling up massive stadiums and professional eSports teams securing sponsorships from huge corporations like Coca-Cola, the definition of a sport is being broadened. Now that these changes are occurring, how will eSports reach mainstream consumption and appeal to newcomers in the industry – especially while still engaging dedicated players? This session will focus on how eSports can both acquire new players and retain existing users by deepening the gameplay experience as well as empowering every competitor, regardless of their skill level. Expert panelists will discuss how developers and designers can go beyond the traditional game creation strategy to build a truly interactive experience that's appealing to players of all skill levels.


Attendees will learn how eSports can be taken to the next level by integrating interactive elements that improve the experience for both new and existing players.
