One of Unity's goals for 2022 is to democratize multiplayer game development – providing the tools, resources, and education required to hit the ground running with development.
Join us to learn about all the new tools available for game devs to make their multiplayer dreams a reality. We'll provide an introduction to Netcode for GameObjects for creating your game, an overview of Multiplay and Relay to connect your players, and a run-through of Matchmaker and Lobby to empower players to play together.
Additionally, we will cover different multiplayer genres and how you can use these services together to provide the best player and developer experience.
Attendees will get to understand the multiplayer services Unity has available and how they work together to provide solutions for developers to create and operate their multiplayer game.
This is for developers interested in building, or have built, a multiplayer game. A level of understanding of the different areas of multiplayer games is useful but not required as we will talk through this in the session.
