Player's online experience can be directly linked to games revenue. This session will go over what can impact this experience, what the solutions on the market are, and review real life data points from live games.

"Google" any game name along with the word "lag" and you'll get thousands of results. Worst, when asked about lag in their games, studios will typically reply that they don't have any problems. However, when you really look, we're able to link decreases in peak CCU with a live streamer complaining about lag in a given game. Poor online experience directly translates in higher churn and lower revenue, but this is a well-kept secret (why would anyone admit they have a problem, am I right?).
