This roundtable brings together professional developers, educators and students to discuss the rapidly evolving effects of AI on game art careers and game production. The session will be co-hosted by a legal expert to help clarify the legal implications of AI on the games industry, alongside the participants’ discussions around the various impacts of AI. Based on the ongoing changes to the market and careers with art AI tools, it is important to establish AI literacy and familiarity with current and upcoming changes to development practices as well as awareness of legal aspects concerning AI generated content.
