While sometimes we wish we only had to worry about one thing at a time, the reality is that many of us are constantly working on and balancing multiple projects and responsibilities at all times. While it can be overwhelming, and it's tempting to just "power through" it by working longer hours, this talk will explore how it is possible to practice and get better at juggling multiple projects in a sustainable manner – and there is no better inspiration to do this than actual juggling!

We will examine a framework to better approach the task of handling multiple projects and responsibilities by using juggling as a frame of reference and studying real world examples, ultimately treating it as something that can be learned, practiced and mastered.

Takeaway

Attendees will learn about practical strategies and techniques on how to more efficiently handle multiple concurrent projects in a way that is sustainable through intentional practices. They will also learn the basics of how to juggle.

Intended Audience

This talk is intended for students who wish to learn how to better manage their time around multiple responsibilities like courses and side-projects, and freelancers or any professional with flexible schedules who have to juggle multiple responsibilities and are looking for techniques to become more productive in their day-to-day work.
