Richard Dansky  (Franchise Narrative Director, Crytek)

Date: Thursday, March 23

Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Pass Type: All Access Pass, Core Pass

Topic: Design

Format: Roundtable

Audience Level: All

Narrative professionals in games don't always have the benefit of having access to their peers. Thus, an opportunity for those professionals to come together and talk over matters of interest is highly desirable. Designed to allow a broad range of discussion on various narrative topics, these round tables will be broken up by subject matter. Day 1 will be Professional, Day 2 will be Technical and Day 3 will be Conceptual. All levels of expertise are welcome, as are professionals from other disciplines with an interest in game narrative.

Takeaway

Attendees will take away new ideas and best practices for narrative work in games. Depending on the session, the takeaway may be more conceptual or more practical.

Intended Audience

The intended audience for these sessions is varied. Primarily they are for narrative professionals within the industry and aspiring narrative professionals, but the conversation is open to those who work with narrative, including designers, producers and audio specialists.
