In this session, Rowan Williams, Lead Narrative Designer at Sprocket Games, will discuss how to create engaging, thoughtful, robust characters that can endure and leave a lasting impression in spaces with minimal storytelling methods.
Attendees will be able to further their ability as thoughtful storytellers in spaces that traditionally leave little room for storytelling—such as barks, low character count text, and more.
This is for anyone who writes or does character work. From students considering pursuing a path in narrative to industry vets, everyone will have a takeaway with regard to creating compelling characters in general, but specifically for minimal spaces.
