Having seen more than 1000 pitches over the past few years and signed 50+ games across the globe, I'll talk about how to make your pitch stand out and get noticed. This talk will dive into some of the patterns we've seen in the pitches that make it to the next stage of the green light process. I'll highlight some techniques for crafting your pitch and the material to include and, sometimes more importantly, the material to leave out.
Additionally, we'll dig into the importance of finding a partner that's a good match for you, as every developer has different needs and goals.
Attendees will come away with new insights into the ways financiers think and what makes certain pitches stand out when they are one of many. They will have a better understanding of what aspects of their pitch they should concentrate on and how to prioritize how they pitch to partners.
This talk is for those interested in learning more about the pitching process and how financiers think. We will explore ways to refine your pitch and how to approach pitches from a different direction. While you do not need pitching experience to attend, a familiarity with pitch decks is helpful.
