The Global Game Jam roundtable is a unique opportunity for everyone involved in Global Game Jam 2022 who are attending GDC to share their knowledge, stories, and experiences, with the goal of improving game jam culture globally, and making connections with the other organizers and the wider GGJ community. Hear stories from game jams across the world and be part of shaping the future of Global Game Jam—an event that spans over 100 countries and touches the lives of tens of thousands of people each year.

Takeaway

Attendees will learn from the collaborative experiences of GGJ organizers and discover best practices whilst having the opportunity to have input into future Global Game Jams. They will have the chance to build their networks and learn from each other about the opportunities afforded by Global Game Jam and how to maximize them.

Intended Audience

This is for Global Game Jam site organizers, regional organizers, executive committee and board members as well as those considering such roles in the future. The only prerequisite knowledge is a basic understanding of what Global Game Jam is.
