Arm

This session discusses the evolution of game play and game delivery on the Arm architecture. It begins with a review of network-based multiplayer gaming relying heavily on the client device. We will then discuss the multiple options that have been enabled by Arm and Arm’s partners to transition to Android cloud-based gaming delivery with options for higher or lower client-side involvement. This will include an overview of available Arm-native development options and the benefits of developing Android and iOS-based games in an Arm development environment. We will discuss real-world examples from Arm partners including N2I (nothing to install), Genymotion, Anbox and Now.gg. Now.gg will conclude the session with an overview of their new Android gaming platform as a service.

Takeaway

Many options exist for developers, gaming studios and game hosters to support Android gaming in the cloud. New offerings make it easy to develop Android and iOS-based games on Arm. And with options to deliver top quality games on low-end devices, you can serve a broader gamer audience than ever before.

Intended Audience

This session is intended for cloud gaming developers, gaming studios and companies hosting cloud gaming infrastructure. Arm and its partners will discuss developments that can lead to higher engagement, faster time to market and improved TCO.
