Have you ever paused before publishing a piece of art, wondering if you will go to jail for it? From protesting on the streets of an eastern European dictatorship to serving as an art director on some of the world’s biggest franchises in Los Angeles. And right back to protesting. Only this time with video games, art and technology. Join Andrew in his most personal talk yet, as we explore how far one can go for art. And whether art is meant to distract and entertain or challenge, elevate and bring about meaningful change. Even if some people might want you dead for it.

Challenge your conventions of the role that video games can play in society. Let’s contemplate together the real impact you might have as an artist and define a clear roadmap of how some of those experiences might be produced.

Intended Audience

Anyone who wants to see how far the medium of interactive entertainment can be extended and the role it can play in society and bringing about change
