This session will present the challenges faced by the audio team when working on an online free to play game that has had monthly updates with a large amount of content for the past 8 years. We show some numbers and examples of the amount of content released and then some solutions to tackle these quantities with a fresh and creative approach. We also present how these solutions helped across different projects in the company and how we plan on continuing these improvements on current and future games.
Takeaway
We present concrete solutions for day to day audio asset management over long-running live projects but also ideas and suggestions about how to build a better audio team that can take ownership of these solutions.
