HP’s newest VR headset, the Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition opens a new frontier for game design and development. In this session, we talk specs, sensors, and what makes Omnicept the most advanced headset on the market. We’ll also dive into the science behind Omnicept’s premier insight, cognitive load, and reveal some exciting applications of Omnicept for game development. This session will include a discussion between one of the researchers behind Omnicept and a game designer using Omnicept to push the boundaries of what’s possible in VR. We close with a demo of an experimental app in development where controlling the mind becomes the controller.
