The gaming mobile space is changing at an alarming rate and developers need to shift gears to keep up. The "traditional" free-to-play business model is going the way of the dinosaur with ever-increasing competition; this requires a change in model. Enter: subscriptions. Ludia adopted the Subscriptions in their games in 2016, and are leaders in integrating the subscription model into their Freemium titles. In this session, Ludia's Senior Producer will share their learnings and best practices so that you can increase retention, LTV and revenue by 15% or more.

Takeaway

Attendees will learn how to increase their revenue and other KPIs by at least 15% with Ludia's best practices on implementing a subscription model into their game titles, while remaining true to the game experience. They will also learn how to balance the "VIP" game experience to minimize friction in online communities and keep all players happy.

Intended Audience

This presentation will be valuable for those involved in company-level business decisions, game and economy designers, and anyone else who is interested in exploring a subscription model as a new or addition to a live game. This presentation will also be useful for anyone with experience in the free-to-play space and game monetization.
