During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mexican game development community grew bigger and more connected, both as a necessity and as an opportunity for everybody. As moderators of game development communities, we saw lots of things happening at once.

This talk aims to share insights from 3 game developer communities in México: indi-es, Women in GAMEX, and DevsVJ MX. We will share some of the learnings from managing communities while being fully online.

Attendees will learn a couple of tools and insights from managing game developer communities to understand why and how communities benefit us, even more in these trying times, and how you can improve your own community.

Intended Audience

Moderators or administrators of online game development communities who want to get insights of how to navigate or grow their communities, people who want to start a new online community or looking how to approach them.
