Topic: Design, Visual Arts

Format: Sponsored Session

Vault Recording: TBD

Audience Level: All

Join this session to learn how artists and designers can enhance their workflows for a faster and more-efficient production pipeline. We’ll show you how easy it is to import art from popular 3D content-creation tools, to facilitate real-time art reviews and asset integration. We’ll then cover several powerful artist and designer-friendly features for updating your work directly in Unity: environment creation and grey-boxing, game and cinematic cameras, event sequencing and playback, and visual scripting tools for rapid prototyping.

Takeaway

Attendees will learn best practices for round-tripping content between professional 3D tools and Unity and how to use several of Unity's artist-friendly features: ProBuilder (for environment creation), Cinemachine (for automated cinematic and game cameras), Timeline (for sequencing and playback of almost anything), and Bolt visual scripting (for rapid prototyping without writing code).

Intended Audience

Beginner to intermediate 3D artists, artistic team leads, level designers, and people trying to improve their artistic content creation workflows for Unity projects.
