It is exciting to start new projects; It is exciting to work on a brand-new concept that you have been stewing on for a bit. But starting new projects over and over and not finishing them can feel like you are going nowhere after a while. It can be demoralizing to see project after project not finish as you restart a project or make a new one. Join Charles to learn about his story of being in that cycle and how setting a smaller goal helped him push pass that barrier. How setting one goal helped him go from finishing no projects to finishing 8 in 2 years.

Attendees will learn of a way to help spark the start of their career or creative endeavor. How setting smaller goals can help put a concrete ending to a project and using tools, resources, and events to help obtain them.

Intended Audience

This talk is intended for developers of a beginning skill level or higher. Particularly those who have felt stuck starting new projects constantly but not finishing them. Also, for those who want to look for a way to find momentum to help start/continue a career or their creative endeavors.
