Online open-world games haven't seen big changes in tech in the past decade. As the demand for large virtual worlds that can host many players and game elements rises in recent years, a new solution to the question is needed. In this session, Richard Li, Principal R&D Engineer at LightSpeed Studios, will showcase a novel technology his team built to support massive and dense virtual worlds for next-gen online games.
