Join this session for an introduction to CQ framework, hear examples of how culture shows up in the business of making games, and discover strategies to improve inclusion and cultural effectiveness in your games and teams.
Attendees will hear some of the benefits, challenges, and opportunities related to addressing cultural diversity in the games industry as industry veterans share their stories. The audience should come away feeling inspired and curious to work across cultures, and aware of the skills needed to be effective in creating authentically diverse game experiences as well as working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
This talk will interest anyone wishing to understand how to work and relate effectively in culturally diverse situations, in whatever form that diversity may take, while learning several specific strategies to apply and develop these skills, particularly in game development.
