Topic: Production & Team Management

Audience Level: All

Creativity and innovation are key pillars to success in game development as we strive to create exceptional entertainment experiences for audiences. It is also a priority to build cultures that celebrate and welcome diversity and inclusive workplaces. By developing the skills represented by Cultural Intelligence (CQ) in our leaders and teams, we can not only significantly improve productivity and innovation - we can help create workplaces where cultural diversity of all kinds can be fully appreciated and welcomed. This session will introduce the CQ framework as Tina also shares relevant personal experiences in the gaming industry.

Attendees will gain insights into each of the four CQ capabilities, including how to develop and strategically utilize these skills in game production. They will also understand the relevance of Cultural Values in the context of how we work and relate to others and the relationship to developing CQ.

Intended Audience

This talk will interest anyone wishing to understand how to function effectively in culturally diverse situations, learning specific strategies to apply and develop CQ and the related skills to create stronger, more engaged game development teams and achieve improved production outcomes.
