In this talk, the Creative Director of 'Assassin's Creed Odyssey', Jonathan Dumont, gives a look at the creative and design philosophies behind the transformation of one of Ubisoft's flagship franchises into a full role-playing game with choices and consequences as a center point of the experience. Learn how the team gave life to this vision, allowing players to go from spectators to participants in the narrative, making history their playground more than ever. Going from character development, design philosophy, and creating a dialogue tool to modifying the iteration process and production structure, the conference will present how the team had to change their approach to support this new creative vision.
