There are so many dystopian movies and TV shows about Virtual Reality. No matter how 'dark' those films are, when it comes to VR, there is one absolute thing in common. 'No one plays VR alone' in those films. This means something to all (future) VR game developers. The essential value of VR was believed to be its 'immersive experience'. However, we believe, the sense of 'Presence' in VR is at least equal, or even more superior value than 'Immersive experience' that VR can offer. In this session, the speaker will talk about how PIXELITY has been pursuing its own way to create 'Massively Interactive Live VR Entertainment' contents, and discuss crucial factors to make the virtual life as valuable as the real life.
Takeaway
From this session, attendees will have a chance to re-evaluate the value of VR to them, and understand how the hype of Metaverse benefited VR, exposed problems at the same time.
Intended Audience
Anyone who want to know how this virtually unknown VR startup remain survived and keep on growing throughout the hype over hype.
